Central Coast

Driftwood Shores Resort & Conference Center — All rooms in this Florence property are dreamy: oceanview suites with a private balcony (for whale watching and sunsets), some with full kitchens, and three-bedroom units for families. Bring sand toys and kites for the 10 miles of sandy beach at the foot of the property, and order meals from the on-site Surfside Restaurant & Lounge. Dog-friendly rooms are available.
North Coast
Saltline Hotel — This 65-room boutique hotel in downtown Seaside (slated to open in mid-July 2020) brings posh amenities like contemporary art and design throughout the space, cruiser bikes, an EV-charging station and a fourth-floor rooftop space. Some amenities may be delayed due to COVID, including the saltwater pool and spa.
Tolovana Inn — Just down the beach from Haystack Rock on the south side of Cannon Beach, this property is a classic because of its broad range of price points, from budget to high-end oceanfront rooms with full kitchens. Wheeler on the Bay — In the quietly charming town of Wheeler — off the beaten path since it’s inland from the ocean — this inn has earned its title as one of the 100 Best Fan-Favorite Destinations for good reason: easy access to fishing on Nehalem Bay, the perfect escape for nature lovers. There’s a fish-cleaning station on the dock and a barbecue to cook what you caught. Paddlers can launch from the dock too, and the inn lends free kayaks for use.
